Privacy policy

Last updated: June 2026

The Panel Edit ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through thepaneledit.com, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. We've written it in plain English on purpose.

Who we are

The Panel Edit is an independent business based in the North West of England. For any privacy matter, contact us at hello@thepaneledit.com.

What we collect and why

At present, the only personal information we collect is your email address, when you choose to join our waitlist. We use it to:

The lawful basis for this is your consent, which you give by submitting the waitlist form. We will never sell your email address or share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Who processes your data

Waitlist emails are stored securely with our email service provider, who processes them on our behalf under their own GDPR-compliant terms. Our website is hosted by a third-party hosting provider, which may collect standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security purposes.

Cookies and fonts

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when the page loads; Google may log technical data such as your IP address as part of serving that request.

How long we keep your data

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@thepaneledit.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes to this policy

If what we collect or how we use it changes — for example, when our shop launches and we begin processing orders, payments and delivery addresses — we'll update this policy and note the new date at the top.
